Local Model Clubs

There are two model aircraft clubs in and around the Basingstoke area.

Basingstoke Model Aero Club

The BMAC flying site is just off the B3400 Basingstoke to Whitchurch road (opposite the "Deane Gate Inn"). It is a largish site free from natural and man made obstacles.

Main types of aircraft flown are IC and electric fixed wing and helicopters, gliders are not encouraged.

Regular club nights are held on every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at the Rucstall Community Hall, Located in Holbien Close, Black Dam, Basingstoke. Starting time is between 08.00 and 08.30 pm!

The AMC currently fly out of a small field just outside "Old Basing" on the outskirts of Basingstoke. They fly IC and electric powered fixed wing, IC and electric (on the indoor meetings) helicopters, they also have a section who are into gliders and free flight.
